Keep Worms Away From Your Family

Intestinal parasites, or worms, are common in dogs and cats, and particularly in puppies and kittens. Not only can they cause illnesses in our pets, but they can also cause illnesses in people. Children are especially vulnerable because they tend to play in the dirt where the worm eggs are found.

It is important to have puppies and kittens tested and dewormed, to have adult animals tested at least yearly, and keep dogs on year-round heartworm prevention. Most monthly heartworm prevention medications (including Interceptor, which we carry) also control intestinal parasites with each dose.
