Sometimes, it is unclear whether a situation is an emergency or not. We can discuss your situation and determine if your pet needs to be seen immediately or wait until the following day.

Emergency After-Hours Visits Available

Dr. Houts sees some emergencies after hours with limited staff. 

If your pet has a more serious condition that will likely result in overnight care or surgery, you will be referred to a hospital that has overnight staff available. Emergencies after 9:00 pm or ones that are more critical in nature are referred to the same emergency facilities.
